NLC Track Tennis 2018
NLC Track Tennis 2018 begins!

The template is now available for download, and you can begin working on the your submission for the first open serve!
-
Create a track section following the first launch. For this open serve you have an extended track allowance of 120m (393')
-
Repackage the park when you're done and upload it to your file host of choice, and post a link in this forum thread within the next 48 hours (A deadline of Sunday 21:00 UTC)
-
The rest of the rules in the first post apply as usual
-
Ask any further questions below, and be sure to post screenshots of your creations for everybody to see
Remember that for the open serve only one of the submissions is kept going forward, so we'll be looking for a unique signature element for the start of the ride.
Thanks for playing guys! it was fun.

10/10 see y'all next year
Wow, this was so cool! I'm glad I could be a part of it. Thank you Patrick, and everyone else who participated! Can't wait for the next one
Guess I'll kick things off with a top hat & a twisty!

^ You're not allowed to support it. Only trackwork...
Yeah, sorry if that wasn't clear. You can leave the file as-is, I'll remove the supports if your entry is picked
oops, i'm a bit too late to be in but can i at least re-use the package to make a full coaster for myself ?
Track Tennis is a contest where participants take turns in adding track to a coaster, section by section, until a ride is completed. Anybody can take part, and you can join at any time and contribute as many sections as you’d like.
You're still in plenty of time to take part in the first turn, the instructions for which are in the comment above.
Fun first entry :P Haven't made anything in a while so doubt I'll get the first element, but no pain in trying!

This is my first time entering anything NoLimits related; hopefully my stuff is at least close to par with some of the stuff you guys make. I figured I'd try to get some interaction with the lake early on.

how about a huge cork screw with an over bank into a drop?

How about some outward banked ejector air to kick things off?
Some superb entries so far! There are still five hours left for this turn, plenty of time to rustle something together if you haven't already
My attempt at a batwing/norwegian loop hybrid...

The deadline has passed! We are reviewing entries now. :)
Some fantastic submissions for this turn! A few stood out, including a fantastic top hat from CoasterMac305 and a frankly insane one from Mrcrolly. We've decided to go with Magnumfreak25's entry, an unique element with fast pacing and a first drop with great airtime.
Turn 2

The template has been updated, download it here
Requests are open for the next turn. This is our first regular turn, so the track length allowance has been returned to the standard 80m ('242). Turns are allocated to the first person to reply, but take a look at the template and make sure you have an idea before requesting.
i would go for it

^ Okay, I hadn't fully considered that a poorly placed final vertex could maker it difficult to transition from. I'll change that rule so you can move the final vertex. The rule about FVD-based entries should cover anything where the vertex placement is quite dense.
