The layout indeed looks more like a dive coaster layout. However, I really like it. The whole new area looks really good! The pullout of the drop and the entrance to the airtime hill feels a little weird though.

Fantastic recreation! Try deleting a few roll nodes near the vertical part of the dive Loop to get rid of the wobbling. That is a well known FVD problem.
