I mean, PHL burned two roller coasters in a huge electrical fire that was bigger than this one. What is it with Germany, theme parks, and fire?
^So much for German safety, right?
First start of the fire :

and 2 min later :

Kinda reminds me of that one incident I read about where the haunted house at SFGADv went up in flames, except for no one being hurt.
I'm so happy that no visitor or staff member got hurt!
I was with some friends at a funfair about 30 km away already after our short stop at Europa-Park as we spotted that big black cloud on the horizon and we were informed about its origin shortly after that. So it was obvious that it must be some very serious incident that's going on there immediately.
Luckily the first rumors that no injuries had happened arrived almost as fast as some pictures directly from there.
It's also absolutely incredible that a friend and I could do a second time visit as planned there today on our ways home and it's amazing that even more attractions were in operation today than had been listed as shut down in the report about the reopening today after that probably very terrible night for all the staff members and everyone who was involved. I read many reports about how well and organized that whole evacuation process must had been executed and followed by the visitors calmly and after I saw that video about the fast start of the fire I'm even more impressed and I think all these reports must have been more than right. That looks like pure professionalism to me.
So Idlewild got new trains for Rollo Coaster and I've been laughing my ass off for 5 minutes:

HOW DID PTC SELL THESE
Looks like Mickey ears , ha ha
^Wonder if Disney will sue for copyright infringement.
I'm assuming this is because there was that kid who fell out last summer?
What's this.... butterfly?
I live like super close to Idlewild, so I might just have to go check those babies out
Has anyone else heard of the power outage at Cedar Point?
^ Yep. Of course the media had a field day with the "Riders stuck stranded on lift hill" thing
I just came across this awesome video of Hard Rock Park's rise and fall from their Chief Creative Officer. The audio is pretty shit, but it's a fantastic watch of what happened to the park.
This is also the first Im hearing of TEA Summit - sounds like something this forum would appreciate. Id love to see more talks like this.
2018: The year of the bumps
i dont know where to put this video but you can get some real nice views of the mack rides factory
Not really sure where to put this, but G-Force at Drayton Manor is closing permanently.
^ah damn, I never got to ride it .-. it was closed on my visit and I was going to go back next year ._. What's your source?

I saw something about this earlier, but holy moly... has a large section of a theme park ever been destroyed just like that? That is absolutely terrible for Europa, especially since what looks like a very good dark ride and the entire section of the park were destroyed. At the very least, no one was hurt.
