NoLimits 2 Wish List

Besides the endless amount of coaster styles I want (Although I have my own morgan hyper, arrow hyper, and arrow mine train) I would like to see the following:

The ability to customize brake runs, transport segments, and lift hills. By that I mean you choose where individual brakes are placed (i. e. proper B&M, arrow brake runs) and you choose how and when they slow down the train (so you can create a proper GCI station braking pattern or make a train slow down like Magnum.) Also the ability to choose the type of brake (i. e. put a cincinatti brake on an Arrow.) For lift hills, it would be the ability for variable speed and for speed changes to happen either at a track trigger or when the train clears the next block.

Headrests on woodies (although I have those to myself too lel)

Proper storage tracks

Change the anti rollbacks on the B&Ms minus the dive to one side and add shocks

Dedicated midway editor

Interval calculator

Customization of coaster types like what we would have had in Theme Park Studio (i. e. select lap bar, seat types for each coaster style)

That's all I can think of for now.

Here's a fairly simple idea I have.

You know how mousing over the G-force combs gives you a readout of the g-force at that point, and same for the speed combs? I suggest that the same feature be implemented for the radius combs. When building a large element/turn, it's sometimes difficult to eyeball if your radius is actually constant because the comb is rather small.

if you go into the preferences editor, under the "precision" tab there's a slider to adjust that :)

Something that I would really like would be an option to move control points and support nodes on individual axes at a time instead of just clicking and dragging, like having 3 lines or arrows sticking out of a point when you click it and being able to click and drag the arrows. It would make perspective editing so much easier.

The ability to set an editing plane skewed at an angle with correspondingly skewed translation axes would be great as well, for things like inclined loops or loops that aren't aligned with the x or z axes.

S&S air launch and axis and modern Vekoma coaster styles would be great too but those seem like a more common thing people want.

For what it's worth, a workaround for your first suggestion, you can move control points and support nodes on individual axes using arrow keys and page up/down. Additionally, for control points, you can just add/subtract values from their position in their properties window

I have just a small idea for a future update...maybe you could add the function that it's possible to save custom video output settings. It would just make things a bit easier so that I don't have to type in my preferred video size every time I want to record a video (for tests I also record the coasters in a smaller resolution since my laptop is not the fastest). So just a button to save custom settings would do it.

Thanks

I have an idea of implementing simple Multi move by entering a negative number in 'Extra block length' (Example for -10m), Then if the train has only left 10m before the end of the block brake then the train at the behind block zone dispatches.

If it looks strange of have a better form of multi move then, anyway it would be really great!

Multiplayer mode would be legendary.
Not only would it allow people to build coasters together as a team, it would also allow players to operate coasters as a team! For example, Coaster Galaxy World's Vulak infinity coaster has multiple op points and is super realistic. Imagine how cool it would be to operate it as a team, with each person opping a separate panel at the same time!

I hope there is an option in the future to make a "silent" coaster (mute the sound of the rail / wheels ) for in use of a darkride and getting rid of the clunck noise when going over transfertable / switches.

Well, it's been over a year since the last update. I'm wondering if we'll ever get version 2.7.

If not though, I'm certainly not complaining about staying on version 2.6 forever. I'm very satisfied with this simulator the way it is currently.

a page where all the custom trains, assets etc are listed and linked to, so you can jsut find/search the stuff directly without having to look through a thousand messages first
