NoLimits 2 Wish List
Simple annotation in the editor (like leaders in ACAD) to be able to make building notes on specific parts of the track would be so helpful to me. I do a lot of wood coaster work based on bent numbers so being able to remember where I need to be would simplify things a lot.
Mack Rides Extreme Spinner coaster style would be neat!

A few small things that would help to make editing a lot quicker imo.
-A way to change the perspective(top, left, right, etc) with the numbers on the keyboard(not the Numpad). So e.g when you press "1" you go to Top View, "2" is left...
-A clearence envelope that shows up in the editor and that is an object on the whole track. Going into the Sim and waiting for the coaster to be at the spot you want to check takes a lot of time.
-Being able to zoom in further.(that's propably just a thing I would like to see because I care way to much about every cm being perfect)
-And the last thing isn't a small thing and not about the edito but I would love to see a New Gen Vekoma Coaster Style

There's a way you can do it, not 100% perfect to be honest since my way creates a box like shape around the track: Create a large box with the light pattern creator and make sure the complete clearance envelope doesn't stick out anywhere (Yes it's a bit painful and takes some time to make the box match the clearance by just a millimeter but you have your clearance envelope in the editor (Only downside is that the insides are invisible, so you only see the box from the outside which is a major flaw in this trick but hey, I'm able to make real near miss elements in my coasters.

An easier way than light patterns or a clearance envelope in the editor is the old tunnel test. Remember that from NL1? Just put tunnels around where you are testing clearance. Freeze the coaster and there's your clearance tunnel.
I'd love to have a feature to change the color of the supports and support nodes in the editor. The red is really hard on my eyes.

The usage of the tunnel to do near miss elements is pretty smart. Thanks for that!
I love everything the NL Devs have added. I appreciate all their work. I hope for one day to have a drop track but dont demand it be added.
An option to turn certain cars of a train backwards instead of entire train at once would be cool
^ & ^^, I second these :).
I just want some of you point towards coastergalaxy world. I think this is the best explanation of things which can be done already in NL2. At the front, so far as i know, stands bestdani with his thought out techniques to make things happen. He really think about solutions everbody is able to use and which being flexible af at the same time.
The scripting API of NL2 is nowadays so powerful, it blows my mind. I would say that 80% of things which should be in NL2 are possible with some scripting and thinking.
So instead to blow up the base game and implementing things, that can already be done in another way, the time is used for improvements and to make the simulator even better.
Today, the technology is running FAST and it´s not an easy task to keep up with ;) But NL2 does.
I think the problem is more how features can be done by ourselfs as the community which stands behind. We have some really awesome coder here. Why not colab or even make a small donation for their work if something is really needed. People are getting paid for just streaming these days. I don´t mean paying for a final product, just motivate and support the work for additional features. Maybe the people who can do this stuff are more motivated to do this. At some point, knowledge and experience have to give something back. Especially if the problems are complex to solve but easy to use.
Just my 2 cents :D
I wish NL had StaticVideo. I use StaticSound all the time and it's very useful, the sound is all in the memory and doesnt glitch at all. StreamedVideo is cool, but there are some weird bugs, such as, when you look away from the video screen, it seems to stop at the last frame you've seen and then when you look back at it rushes to show you quickly what you've missed, instead of just running it in the background.
Please add Mack launch track and Mack lift track.
Have older trains like Schwarzkopf Wildcat or Jet Star. Maybe a DLC to design trains 🤔
i wish they would add arrow hyper trains so people dont half to use the arrow corkscrew in the game
I want to be able to switch between imperial and metric measurements without leaving the editor. A setting in preferences would be nice.
An option to duplicate lights.
Automatic switch transfers without scripts :P EDIT: And iPad support (iOS app to operate the rollercoasters)
A way to set nodes to strict but only from one view. So basically a permanent "Make Straight 2D" feature.
- Vekoma Family Suspended train + track
- Premier Sky Rocket track with different trackstyles
- more transfer table options, example Powder Keg
- Double station which the station can move as transfer table like Mr. Freeze
Adding an option to mute the sound, when a train goes from track to transfertable / track to merge / fork. Usefull when u have a darkride.
It would be nice too add Arrow Hyper trains and maybe add some more flat rides.
Hello! Do you know if this thread is useful? Do you might that somebody from NL2 dev will take some ideas from here? 🤔 how long NL2 takes to send updates with new features? Cheers
I really really want snappable beam nodes.

^ I know, but an option for save as is just a little bit easier
