I don't know if you're aware Energylandia is like 20minutes away from Auschwitz and if this was a joke or not, but man that's unfortunate!

I was not aware of that. I was talking about summer heat.

^ Looks like a solid family coaster!

The theming around the station looks great, and the audio is definitely unique.

Yukon Quad looks a solid ride, definitely a good addition for the park. I’d like to see more of these Intamin Motocoasters come to parks - they seem thrilling and have some good airtime whilst still appealing to families.

Well, now Le PAL needs a great thrill coaster and the park will be for the whole family! There's nothing for thrill seekers at this park...

If Yukon is anything like Juvelen (which it should be), it's not called family thrill coaster for nothing. The second launch is very powerful and I was so unprepared for it! Sure the layout doesn't go high or invert but it doesn't need to. The speed and curves are fun enough :)

I second that, Juvelen is a brilliant ride! Definitely the biggest surprise for me at Djurs, just so much fun. And yes, it's more intense than it looks.

I'll be testing the ride on May 2nd and I have no doubt on Yukon Quad's second part. But when I was talking about a great thrill coaster, I was thinking about a ride filled with airtimes and hangtimes.

^ And much, MUCH needed! That first drop was like the single most painful element I ever rode on a coaster... The shakiness is unbelievable.

That's not the first drop, it's the turn after the second drop. Which for me, together with the following hill, was the worst part of the ride last time I rode it back in 2016.

Oh right, my bad. So they are not retracking that dang first-drop then? It was seriously near dangerous... At one point the first row was closed, and I think that was due to shakiness. I rode it in 2016 as well.

Haha the first time I saw the picture I made the same mistake for a few seconds. Due to the terrain and this turn not being very visible from inside the park, it's easy to forget just how much of a climb there is up to the third hill.

As for the first drop, I simply don't know. But they posted some more pictures on facebook showing retracking of the entire part from the second turn until (and including) the drop before the 90-degree turn.

^Yep, i don’t think they are doing the first drop this time. Anyway with the work they are doing now it will be running fantastic 😁 Actually the only parts of the coaster that has not been retracked since opening day in 2001 now is the first drop and the final bunny hops before the brakerun.

But seriously that thing is so fast! It even looks like it whips through all the inversions as quickly as an old-gen B&M would. I don't think much else needs to be said about this ride really; it's clearly going to be legendary. But I think any doubts about how incredible Steel Vengeance is going to be should be just about gone by now.
