Oh my that looks good! Cant wait to see more one the layout of this one.
An opening date has been set for Icon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Their new MACK double launch coaster will premiere on May 25th, just in time for the second May bank holiday.

Steel Vengeance is opening with a 52" height requirement. Very interesting considering that TT is lower. They claim its because of intensity and length.

and length.
I don't see what that has to do with the seat and restraint design.
Kings Dominion has implemented a policy on Twisted Timbers that even if you meet the height requirement, if the restraint doesn't touch your thighs, you cannot ride. So raising the requirement to 52" at CP would minimize operation delays do to guests not fitting the requirements despite the height requirement. I've ridden the ride 100+ times and its pretty much once every 2 or so cycles, a kid cant ride because the restraint doesn't touch their thighs, and it causes them to miss their dispatch time by at least 30 seconds. I think that due to Cedar Fair's experience at Kings Dominion with Twisted Timbers, its reasonable to assume that this has also played a factor in their decision to raise the height requirement.
^I was there today and asked them (Grant) about it, and they've done away with that policy. If you're 48" now, you can ride. Still cant hit their dispatch times! (mostly because they've slowed the top of the lift and haven't adjusted the clock in the station)
I noticed today that they were going about 30 seconds over their dispatch time usually. Luckily the line want that long
This is probably not gonna happen but according to RCDB Ankapark should open tomorrow... Well this should be interesting https://rcdb.com/12017.htm
SFMM 2.0
God the park's been under construction for like, what, 5 years now? I can't wait to see this.
I really like the look of that 10 inversion. Are there others with that new type of drop?
***Nevermind there are several lol.
They have put up the POV of Golden Lasso...
Here it is embedded
Dat ridiculous twisting off-axis air hill thing that comes after the ridiculous dive loop thing after the ridiculous first drop.
Will there be complimentary cigarettes passed out post-ride? Because it looks like everyone's going to need one.
Holy crap.
Looks amazing!
That first airtime hill that pulls back inward looks absolutely bonkers, even in the front seat. I can't even begin to image what the airtime will be like in the back :)
I was hoping they'd release the uncut version of the previous video because it clearly goes faster D: The video above is definitely from an earlier test run. So no, no pacing issues.
^^That also looks awesome. Gonna have to start planning a Cedar Point trip, I think. That marks three major coasters since the last time I've been there, plus the Mantis -> Rougarou conversion. I'm slackin'.
Also, Rail Blazer is testing. To the surprise of no one, it too absolutely hauls.
My response to the Wonder Woman, Steel Vengeance, and Rail Blazer videos is the same: Wow, that is fast.
Let's hope that Vengeance and the Raptor clones don't have the same downtime as Twisted Timbers haha. All of the RMC's look absolutely amazing. I've only been on one (Twisted Timbers) and it's easily in my top 5. Considering how much I enjoy speed and nonstop airtime, I think I might need to get out and ride more RMC's, especially Vengeance - good lord that ride looks bonkers.

Wicker Man > Steel Vengeance yall stupid
