Prospect Park — 48 Hour Contest
Mine is submitted. Thanks very much for putting this together! Was a blast working in the city park template.
15 minutes remaining! At this point I'd strongly suggest you start packaging your file and submitting the .nl2pkg via the form. Just like online homework, it's probably best not to push your luck with technology at the very last minute.
Form Link: https://forms.gle/bAp16rgPgckGVN46A
If you have difficulties uploading to the form, PLEASE message me here on NLC or via Discord so we can figure out an alternative solution (email, shared drive link, etc).
Just submitted, thank you for hosting this! The template is super interesting and the parameters were fun to play around with. I got to 29.7 mph on my family coaster and my thrill ride is just under the limit at 2,288 feet.
...and the form has closed! Thank you all for participating!! Starting tomorrow, we will begin the judging process. I'll keep you all informed on the ETA of announcing contest results. Thanks again!
The list of submissions is shown below. In duplicate scenarios, we will grade the latest submission.

Will all the entries be up for download?
Wow, lots of entries! Show off your creations on Twitter for RTs and Likes from us!

Ah man, I'm upset i missed this. Not been on here in a while. Hopefully there will be another contest soon, but i might have a play with the template anyway.
Hi all, sorry to bump this since you probably thought this was the results post.
In true contest fashion, the judges are late getting things finished. Still waiting on asianguru to finish his set... (yes we've reminded him)
Results
Results are finally in! We apologize for the wait but stuff doesn't always work out as planned, especially during these times. Nevertheless we had a blast judging these entries, we were blown away with what you guys could come up with in the span of 48 hours and shows once more what this simulation and especially this community is capable of!
First place

Starting with the family coaster, the "Lil' Bob" a Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster with a very cool layout only being shy of 0.1 km/h to the speed limit. Extra props on the custom queue that isn't a plain cattlepen but instead does some nice swoops and curves below the rides main area providing some great sightlines and angles of the coaster, if only the ride had an actual sign this would've rounded it off perfectly. Moving on to the parks headline attraction, Superloop. A majestic double looping Schwarzkopf coaster that greets you with a cool sightline from the subway entrance to the park. The shaping was on point and the layout had some fantastic interaction with the paths. This is leaving us with the park design aspect and this has got to be my favourite part. The flat ride lineup is very nice. The ferris wheel makes for a very cool park silhouette. The path design here is the strongest of all entries in my opinion. this feels like a park that grew organically.
Second place
Element 115

Awesome park that's full of detail! Both coasters are well-executed, though the Arrow really shines. The layout makes great use of the space and scene, coasting around dining areas and over pathways. The GG woodie starts strong but has a mild mid-section when traversing back. The rest of the park features lots of flat rides, restaurants, and picnic tables. Details are everywhere, with fences lining restricted areas for rides. Foliage is excellent. The backstage area and the concert stage construction were neat ideas that really add to the feel of a lived in park. Audio is also top notch, with station music and the Arrow featuring an authentic chain sound. It's only missing the guests! So far, my only nitpick is the environment. It casts a huge shadow over half the park. It doesn't really affect the score, but outside of taking screenshots I'm not seeing the move here.

"Sidewinder", a Gerstlauer Bobsled kept good pacing and the layout took advantage of the plot pretty well. My only gripe with the layout is the somewhat stretched out shaping you get for huge portions of the layout, it didn't take full use of the compact tight articulation these trains are made for, I feel like this layout would've worked better as a spinning coaster. "The corkscrew", the parks flagship attraction is prominent from everywhere inside and outside the park, on your ride you can enjoy some pretty well executed classic Arrow shaping taking a ride through the entire park. The layout felt believable and very consistent throughout delivering some some great interaction with other rides in the park. The picnic court behind the corkscrew's looping felt a little neglected. Benches and bins were scattered over the grass and the rather randomly positioned pavillion received a puddle of gravel that you fall into after dropping of the solid paths coming into this area. All in all this turned out to be a very strong entry, the layouts felt believable and fun, the park was nice to walk around in and you took great use of planters to blend the existing paths in with added paths.
Fourth place
CoasterMac305

The family coaster "Jetliner" first, this is one of the strongest family coaster entries in the contest, the pacing was fantastic and the ride flew through the layout while still staying within the speed limit at any time. Moving on to "Vortex" the parks classic headline attraction made by Arrow Coasters. The Shaping is great, you can really notice all the arrow shaping quirks, it just felt like those nuances were a little too smoothed out in some spaces. The overall park image was pulled off pretty well, compared to other entries its starting to lack in pathwork, shop details and seating areas and some of the flats were missing queues or fences at the path at all. Overall this park shined with great layouts and good shaping but the park design side of the entry was lacking compared to others.

This was an interesting entry, the scenery is minimalistic, but I think that it works well with what i assume you were going for. It looks like an actual park with open green areas like id see right down the street from where I live. I like that you went with a family suspended coaster instead of a family woodie like most other submissions i looked at. The thrill coaster looks incredible as well. Both are solid attractions and you hit it out of the park with them. Unfortunately the station for one of the coasters is incomplete, and the football goal post doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the context of the park, imagine kicking a football out of the park and hitting some of the surrounding buildings. With all that being said, it was a really solid entry. Thanks for entering!
Honorable mention
Docoaster

Unfortunately we had a couple disqualifications, mostly due to speed limits or intersecting supports. Still some of those entries blew us away and we especially want to give a shoutout to Docoaster's entry whose park had a fantastic atmosphere to it. The Schwarzkopf coaster with interlocking loops was so impressive! If only it wouldn't have been for the family coaster exceeding the speed limit in multiple places.
We hope everyone had a fun time with this contest and is excited for the upcoming 5 Hours of Power contest!
Damn, wish I didn't miss this! Congrats to all the participants looks so great!
Wow, all of those parks look fantastic. Congrats to the winners, and thank you to the organizers for putting together such a cool contest!
Congrats to everyone who participated! Espacially to DoCoaster which’s Park is a true masterpiece in my eyes. He texted me straight away after the contest and said: „Damn, my family ride is way to fast!“
Thanks for mentioning my entry in the Results posting even though it broke the rules. It was huge fun to participate anyway and I loved the template!
Congrats to the winners. I took a closer look at some of the entries and was really impressed. I wasn't able to pick my favorite as they all had their strengths!

I threw mine in for fun.
