The NoLimits 2 Mega Resource Thread - Guides, Tools, Scripts

201 to 225 of 341

Hello everyone,
Some new trains have been finished, this time it's Intamin Megacoaster trains with a generic option and a themed option (Walibi Belgium Mega trains).
However, these are not free like some of my previous trains, the prices are as follows: Generic $6 / euro, Themed $8 / euro, Both $12 / euro.
If you want to purchase any of these trains, DM me on Discord at Serming#5080.

Will you post a photo?

^ Probably deleted during a file sweep I did. Honestly, I might redo all blank car textures since I can actually use Gimp 2 properly. For now, here is a temporary download

What is: Valleying, & How To Avoid It In NoLimits 2!

Valleying is when the train of a coaster comes to an unwanted stop during the "action" part of the layout. Often times, NoLimits designers fail to incorporate this aspect of realism into their designs.

In this tutorial I will show:

• How to check your coaster for this issue
• How to make sure your design does not have this problem

Edit:

ProjeKtron has since reminded me of Furious Baco, and I stand corrected. Anyone know the logic on that? lol. Maybe it's so low for most of it, that the speed required for it to stall is of such a small value, that the chances of it valleying are negligible compared to taller elements such as a loop or top hat.

Hi, I want to update this thread with a new blender->.nl2elem export plugin. Simply install this plugin, select the curve you want to export, set the 3d cursor to the selected curve origin, and go to export->Export Nl2 Element!

Feel free to ask questions. This also works for curves with curve modifiers.

I'm not sure if I have posted this in the correct place but I've been trying to work out for ages why my station before the switch track does not have a backward motor option to move the train back into the storage area. I'm using the Gerstlauer spinner as the fake track, I'm sure its a pretty simple fix I just cant work it out.

I think that is just how NL2 is set up. I'm pretty sure you have to script the block logic to make it do what you want it to do.
