^ I guess reading the error message would tell you what's wrong or at least us.

^^ It's documented in the NL2 manual how to use it. ;-)

Oh, really? Didn't know that. I might have to look into it then.

And your advice worked well and gave me a result i'm pretty happy with for my badges. Thanks mate.

Edit: Just had a look and found the custom shader stuff. It's in a section of the user manual i've never gone into before, which is why i didn't know about it.

This might sound like asking to much but would anyone want to help me make custom trains? I cant script and i dont know how to use blender yet (only sketchup) But i just started learning autodesk

Yea, it would be a good idea to create a thread or tutorial on this for beginners. Especially having almost no scripting or 3D modelling experience being in 8th grade makes it hard to try and figure this out.

Question:
Is it possible to make the Vekoma "Big Air" cars? Like, maybe fitting them on the BM Dive track? I dont know if its possible to actually move the sets of wheels to fit those cars (because of their size). Ive always liked thos big cars...

There is no difference in modelling anything else, so any (hard surface) modelling tutorial should serve the techniques for modelling a custom train. Or what are you looking for exactly?

There might be some additional restrictions how you have to name parts if you use premade scripts or script generators for the train, but this should be documented in the tool, if there is something like this and has nothing to do with the modeling process.

For the seats, use a to scale human model from the 3d warehouse (or the blender equivalent), i find this helps a lot when getting the scale right and is also useful when modelling the restraint too. Try to think about how comfortable the seat would be for a rider, and if the restraint could securely hold them. Try to avoid hard corners and edges on the seats and instead work on making them contoured and smooth to accommodate a wide range of body sizes, this should also be taken into account for the restraints. These are by far the two hardest parts of modelling a train in my opinion as the chassis is generally made up of simpler geometric structures. As for the scripting im not really much help there as i just kept annoying the codemaster until he helped me ;)

I'll will be back working on the togo trains this weekend as I've put it aside to get some other things done. Didn't mean for it to take this long
