2018

Some more photos that have appeared. Im starting to slightly warm up to the ride, but it just looks "off" to me still. Its like the sort of thing that shouldn't exist, but there it is right in front of me. I just want to see a video of it running at this point
I love how chaotic GCI's tend to look.
It looks 'OKAY' from a ride perspective, I think that first dive to the right should be pretty fun, and it looks to have a good few pops of airtime, it's just a strange theme, and judging by the weirdly dull looking buildings they've put up throughout the area, I'm not convinced it's going to look nice.
From a riders perspective I doesnt look as good in my opinion. But the turns look just beautiful from birds eye view, got to love those GCI aesthetics.
Construction is moving quickly on the Griffon clone in South Korea

Toverland Fenix wing coaster part did arrive to the park today

^^That's a Griffon clone? It's crazy how much smaller it looks with the thick spine.
^That's what the artwork showed. Looks a whole lot better with only one support in that curve!
Here's some pics I took today of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's new for 2018 Mack Mega, Icon. The first picture shows the constructed Immelmann, and the next two show the track in the car park. Someone with more time and a better attention span than me can probably tell you what bit of track corresponds to which part of the layout, but I can definitely see some launch track there (the straight and thick spine section).

Alton Towers once again proves that they do not know how to promote/market a family coaster
That was the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack lmao.
^ What do you mean? This is Hall of the Mountain King, used in ALL Alton Towers promotionnal features (at least new rides).
ElectricEel @ Sea World San Diego

The comments on the SW8 videos are painful to read.
^^ Seems like the dropped the two-tones color scheme... Bummer, that was cool.

New Intamin incoming in Shanghai:

And here's the first true robocoaster coming in China as well:

It's being build by Premier Rides (track), Kuka (arm) and ITEC (theming, master planning, all-sort-of-things), AKA big names that have worked with Universal.

Sorry, never mind. I could have sworn they were the same thing just from memory, but they're not. They just have similar auras.
These two RMC's, even though they are clones, look so different. Must just be the backgrounds.
Out of the blue, a new Gerstlauer has popped up in Columbia, and it looks awesome:

^ Wow that does look awesome.. Is that a double down I see??
Gerslauer must really love their "double-down", or I'd rather call them double-wiggle. After Pegase Express (where it's a double-up), this one, there's also the new bobsled at Jardin d'Acclimatation that has a first-drop like that.
Here's my updated simulation:
Yes, the first-drop is that weird, here are the pictures I took this afternoon:

Blackpool Pleasure Beach announced today that Wild Mouse would be permanently dismantled along with Trauma Towers.
That's such a shame .-. The mouse was one of the more unique rides at the park :(
That's really sad news to hear. I've always wanted to ride it just because of its historical significance.
Strange of the park to close it now without giving anyone any notice.

This entire ride is giving me serious 13 vibes, spending months hyping up a ride with a dark theme that ultimately is trash. Merlin seem to have a knack for marketing family rides for the teenage audience that Alton, realistically, doesn't actually have.
