Energylandia is fast becoming an elite park.

In the meantime, confirmation has been received that Rocky Mountain Construction 's proposal has won the public tender. It will be the second , the are of roller coaster RMC on European soil, and the 1 st hybrid roller coaster in the continent. The rollercoaster must be ready by 2020 and will be made with the so-called I-Box track.

Also looks like the world's first RMC I-box built completely from scratch. Just when I was wondering if RMC would ever have a reason to do that as opposed to converting aging woodies.

^ It will be interesting to see RMC have their go at a ground-up I-box. As for the construction, I can't imagine it would be that much different than building their woodies

I am not a fan of that holding area on hangtime. Its just blah to me. Either hold like B&M dive machines do or sop completely flat like Cannibal. The rest of Hangtimes layout looks great but that pre drop and drop are eh.

I kind of agree if it'll be like the holding brake on Takabisha's drop (where the brake only releases after the trains have already gone "over the edge"), though hopefully the longer train should make it at least a bit better in the back row.

It's mostly paid for by a big company (energylandia is owned by some energydrink company) and the European Union. While I love having these coasters in Europa I kind of detest the fact that Poland is receiving coasters other EU countries paid for. The idea behind it is that it will help the tourism sector in Poland mature, but I'm not sure if this is the way to go. So yeah, happy about the rides, not so happy about the way they are paid.

I know a lot of people don't like it, but I still really love that design. I think the layout is brilliant, all it needs is some speed to make it work. Even if the pacing isn't breakneck, it'll make for a great coaster that most everyone in the family can ride and will love because it'll be fun without being overly intense.

I'm still iffy on it. I don't think the layout is all that great still, albeit not the worst. What'll make/break it for me is definitely going to be the pacing, because it seems like it has the potential to go either enjoyably fast or crawling slow. That flat turn still worries me in that regard and also the fact that they have so many restrictions in place when building this thing.

I'm sure, like every coaster (bad or good) it'll still be an enjoyable ride.

The completely unbanked turn doesn't give me much hope that the ride will be travelling very fast.

We all know SW8 was meant to be a family coaster but why give it a dark/horror theme if you're trying to appeal to kids. If anything it just leads to more hype being built up and people being disappointed with it in the end.

I agree with this man - it doesn't make any sense. That said it's looking more attractive as a coaster with all of the tunnels and overbuilt pieces. It could turn out cool....it....could...

I guess the unbanked turn is to make the ride appear... faster. If the turn was properly banked, it would have been meh. By having a flat turn with laterals, you add a feeling of over-speed.
