2018
Just got back from Passholder Night at KD, and having also gone to media day for TTimbers, I can say it has sped up a LOT just by running all day. it should be FLYING by April easily.
Just rode it tonight and it is incredible. I'd say it's my 2nd favorite RMC behind Wicked Cyclone. Great ejector especially on the three straight hills.
Were they really running only one train last night?
Yeah apparently something went wrong with the blue train as it was transferred off right before they let people in for preview night. The long dispatch times didn't help with operations much either lol.
It ran both trains all today and lines were relatively short all day. it kept getting faster all day as well
Europa-Park posted a short clip on facebook (being logged seems to be required) that shows the ongoing track replacement of Eurosat. Really interesting how "much" space they have for these works. ;-)

Not sure if this angle has been posted yet, but woah.
Drove by American Dream yesterday (I live 12 mins away), and couldn't take a picture as I was the only one in the car but the lift for the Takabisha clone is fully complete, along with part of the flat track up there, and some of the pullout. It protrudes from the structure of the building maybe 30'. Pretty cool looking.
I can't wait for that!
Looks like a giant integral symbol.

does this even pass clearance??? lol
I don't know why I haven't heard anything about this before, but this dueling Vekoma family boomerang just opened in the Netherlands today
It duels well (it's more clear in the latter half of the video) and looks fun, I really hope they clone it
^ I'd not hear about that either. Looks really cool though thanks for sharing!
POV of Electric Eel at SeaWorld San Diego:
Python new track
The new Python looks really smooth! They sure did a lot to the curves and corkscrew entry. Interesting that the tracks almost touch each other in the loops.
while im still not a fan of the track aesthetics, it does look like it rides a lot better, and has potentially made the ride a lot more enjoyable
Anyone else think the lats exiting the final corkscrew look bizarre?
It's almost like using the NL2 smooth tool on geometrically-shaped track.
That's an interesting cross-tie shape on the inversions.
^So this is essentially their replacement for darKastle? I really hope whatever that 300 foot attraction they applied for is good.

It's not really a replacement since it's on the opposite side of the park, but Battle for Eire is their only attraction that could be considered anything like a "Dark Ride"... I hope that 300-foot attraction is something good too.

That POV makes it look much slower than it actually is. The ending is fine. Plus it was 30 degrees today during the media day. The drop right before the turn under the lift is probably my favorite part of the ride, and the final inversion is taken at a speed that really lets you savor the hang time you get through the roll. Those final two bumps before the brakes also provide good air. It's a good, fun ride from start to finish, and I'm sure it will only get better as it breaks in.
