The Seaside Screamer Contest will be returning soon for the last time, Just got to get some final preparations done and hopefully this becomes the first NL2 contest hosted on NLC!
Gonna start this all over again lol
^^ Welcome back! How did you get that custom track style? It looks very nice!
I had PVM make the track for me. Here is my custom togo style brakes.

Well, its been a long time since I lost the whole project when my PC died few month ago. This is what I redo so far :
@ HelloHurricane : That looks so realistic, very nice job.
A little something I've been working on, trying to see if I want to make a whole park...

My Torokko Jet Coaster. With the conveyor belt lift.

Well hello everyone!
It's been quite a while since I've been active in the NL community. While I did read the NLE forums on a daily basis and looked at the Roundups on youtube, I haven't touched NL2 myself in ages and it's also been a long time since my last post in the NL community. But with the launch of NLC I felt a little boost of inspiration, so I decided to fire up NL2 and start building. I decided to go for a small B&M inverted coaster, kinda "Nemesis Inferno meets Montu" thing. Well, at least that was my starting inspiration at least.
I must say that I had completely forgotten how powerful the NL2 editor is. While there is probably a lot that can be said about my trackshaping, it really is incredible how easy it is to create a smooth track that rides fairly well, and for being thrown together rather fast I'm quite pleased with how the ride turned out. Just a few places of track that needs a little tweaking.
Supports are only temporary prefabs.
I found this angle... I just had to take a screenshot.

Created some custom track with a custom switch:
@ PvM, nice piece of clever scripting with unvisible track replaced with a piece custom track, if i'm right.
I don't know, does this right loop support look plausible? Could it actually hold the structure up?

I don't think so. I would ditch the classic box support and do something totally different.
Just looks like a Schwarzkopf loop support so why not?
^The problem is the size of the loop; about 24m if I remember correctly. The loop supports just looks so small and flimsy. Infact, these aren't even the loop supports you can select in the property window. These are custom boxes to match the size of spine (0.67m*0.67m).
^ Maybe do a custom spine for that box beam loop section using a thicker beam? So the supports end up looking more solid but still match the size.
@ Tim: I like that. Can we see some more shots? You always have some really neat ideas.
^ I got you, I also have the onride POV for you guys.
^I love this ride soooo much, the foliage and terrain work are so amazing and it just fits so well, well done
Where did the pictures go?
You posted too many high res photos so they were removed. Please check the rules post at the top of the topic.
Ah makes sense, I tried to look for the rules anywhere but in the actual topic.

I wanted to do this whole park without going into sketchup, but I'll be starting to use Sketchup on my next park so I can get better at Sketchup. Only the park AFTER the sketchup park will be suitable for this site. You guy's help will aid.
I like how this station is coming out, though you can't currently enter. Lol
