Thanks! And your right about speed. Going for a 500ft lift hill. Might be first coaster concept that has a windshield and wipers lol.

I think a launch would suit this coaster more? But anyway, excited to see the final result!!

i like everything except for the restraints and wheels, they just feel a bit much, its a nice concept but maintenance on those would be a pain plus they look more heavy than most polyurethane wheels found on coasters. it would probably be less efficient as the weight isnt dispersed at an odd angle. overall i do like it

Lovely looking renders, I do however have a few points of constructive criticism;

-Your seat design is far too low to the floor for it to work, unless you want people to sit like they're crouching over a french squat toilet.

  • You made some interesting choices with your wheels, and while I'm no engineer I can see that you'd have issues with these, the forces would impact the inside corner, and would probably sheer of the outer part of the wheel quickly. There's a reason all coaster designers utilise similar wheel assemblies on their cars.

Hey thanks for the reply. The back seats are at a pretty normal height like a regular car. The front seats are low like a race car. Most race car seats bolt straight to the frame. Definitely not comfortable compared to say a B&M seat for sure!

As for the wheels i cant quite see where a sheer would happen. Can you explain a bit more?

Each wheel has 3 points of contact. One on each outside edge and then the main contact point in the middle. This contact points are fairly small and there is poly urethane between the points.

The outside points would definitely be running alot of friction though. So the poly urethane plays a pretty big role.
