NoLimits 2 Wish List

76 to 100 of 270

Hello,
nice would be a popup window with coordinates for support nodes like "F2" for track vertices or for scenary objects. It would make construction of individual supports much easier and more precise. This window needs only editable coordinates for X, Y and Z, there are no scaling factors or rotation angles, also no additional check boxes like "strict" etc. It is very difficult to adjust (or even find a new set free node...) to an accurate place. In top view, front/back view or left/right view the maximum zoom is limited, only in perspective view you can go very close to a node. But you can only adjust in 2 dimensions perpendicular to the viewing direction. In perspective view this direction is not exactly defined.

This window could also be activated by "F2" for the actual selected node like for track vertices when support tab is selected.

It would also be nice if the maximum zoom for top view etc. can go a little bit further to more details, for better adjusting support nodes, objects etc. by mouse or for easier measurements on existing objects. I have measured the dimensions of track gaps in stations for some coasters for making my own stations, but is is very difficult to get an accuracy of 0.01m (pointing with mouse cursor to edges and look at coordinates in status display).

Best regards

I tried making a elevator lift using the transfer table tilted 90 but the track will not start in the lower position when i go into the sim.

Do I have to flip the table around?

probably not a well wanted thing, but it would be nice to have more viewing options in the editor to make use of 2 or 3 monitors effectively, like having three views next to each other in a row, instead of one big one, and then two on top of each other.

I would like an RMC update, featuring the RMC topper track, RMC I Box track, RMC T-Rex track, and RMC Raptor track. I want both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 RMC trains in NoLimits 2 as well. And as well as a park file demonstrating the RMC coaster styles.

^I think lots of people do (myself included) and you're nowhere near the first to suggest that.

I'm not sure how possible this, but if there was a way to temporarily align/change the angle of the snapping grid that would be extremely helpful. I know that I could just rotate something until it aligns with the grid, add stuff around it then move it back, but that isn't really an option after you have lots of terrain and support work built onto a ride

Also, here are some more styles I would like to see in NL:

  • Intamin Prototype Wing Coaster (SkyRush and Flying Aces style)
  • Intamin Wooden Coaster 1 (Colossos and Balder style)
  • Intamin Wooden Coaster 2 (El Toro and T Express style)
  • Modern Vekoma Coaster (Lech Coaster, Formula 1, etc)
  • Modern Vekoma Flying Dutchman Coaster (F.L.Y. style)
  • Modern Vekoma Family Coaster
  • Modern Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster
  • Chance Morgan Hyper Coaster with 6 seated cars (Steel Force, Mamba, Wild Thing, etc.)
  • Chance Morgan Hyper Coaster with 4 seated trains (Phantom's Revenge style)
  • Chance Morgan Hyper GTX Coaster (Lightning Run style)
  • Premier Rides LSM Launch Coaster with 6 seated cars (Full Throttle style)
  • Mack Rides Spinning Coaster (Time Traveler style)
  • PTC Three Bench Coaster style w/ buzz bars
  • Arrow Dynamics Mine Train Coaster Style
  • Arrow Dynamics Hyper Coaster Trains (Desperado and Big One Style)
  • Giovanola Mega Coaster Style (Goliath and Titan style)
  • Giovanola Inverted Coaster Style (Anaconda style)
  • 4 tube track option added to the Classic Steel Looping Coaster style (Shockwave and Mindbender track style)
  • 3 tube track option w/ rounded cross ties on the Corkscrew Coaster Style (Tennessee Tornado track)
  • Cable Lift hill mechanism option on certain coaster styles
  • Flywheel launch mechanism option on certain coaster styles
  • Hydraulic launch mechanism option on certain coaster styles
  • double loading option for the "station" segment type (like Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, etc.)

That was all what I could think of as for right now.

You forgot the Schwarzkopf Models not already on NL2 (ex, Speed Racer, Custom Speed Racer, Prototype suspended coaster). We have two coaster types already. How about the others I mentioned?

While everyone complains about coaster styles I’ll be over here waiting for a better support integration (wooden supports, RMC style supports, more options with the B&M rail connectors, etc.), something that would actually be incredibly helpful and couldn’t simply be done now with modeling (I know it’s in progress, I’m just waiting for the day it can be used).
I also second COASTERGUY246's idea
