Lochedge Towers - Nolimits Park (Announcing Raubvogel, NEW for 2022!)

1 to 24 of 24

Welcome to Lochedge Towers, a medium sized amusement park that offers a handful of attractions, shows, and entertainment options. Opening in 1980, the park has slowly built itself up to a family mainstay for locals, and it continues to evolve to reach a larger audience and attract more tourists.

History
On the grounds of the park is the Lochedge Castle, located in the Villeurville section of the park today. This castle was built in 1880 and restored when the land became an amusement park in 1980. It is listed as a historic site and must remain preserved, with its full integrity kept intact. Due to the historic significance of the lands the park sits on, there is a 60m height restriction to preserve sightlines.

When the park debuted Drachen in 1985, it was the first major steel roller coaster to hit the region. To this day it is an extremely popular and nostalgic attraction, even with its rougher ride. Newer rides such as Nøkken, have taken the park from a local destination to a more global one. In 2019, park owner Hans Waldmann vowed to increase the amount of attractions at the park in the next decade to solidify it as a big player in the theme park industry. Visitors will find other rides such as Krieger and Ljósálfar to keep their young ones occupied throughout the day.

With some of the most beautiful scenery around and a first class entertainment experience, Lochedge Towers has nothing short of a great future ahead as it strives to be a world class theme park destination.

Notes
Alas, after slowly showing off all the other projects I had sitting around, here is my favorite! This is a “work in progress park” meaning there will be updates similar to how Terra Park operates. The biggest difference between this and previous projects is that this will be available for download! This park will have several “park updates” posted throughout time. Funny thing is that I already have the next release/phase almost wrapped up but that will not come till the time is right. For now enjoy this short teaser showing off just a few highlights of the park and be sure to download it here on the exchange on 7/8/20. More to come very soon

hey where is the download for the park ?

If you read the thread title you'll see that it will be released sometime today. Could be morning, afternoon or evening. Be patient and it will eventually come, when Tyrush is ready.

The park has been posted for download! Remember this is sort of version 1, it will be updated with new additions/construction updates as they happen (and one will start to happen sometime this summer)

Let me know what kind of framerates you all get. POV videos will be posted shortly....Enjoy :)

I have no idea why, but the boarding gates on Krieger won't open. I tried opening them in manual station mode but they wouldn't budge. The other two coasters are fine.

I looked into it and figured out the issue. I have a fake track for the rails and that is the one that I froze the gates for instead of the running track

I don't think my computer will run it well with all of those assets, but from the POVs and images you've shared, your park looks expertly crafted. Genuinely gorgeous and convincing that it could be a real place. Kudos.

Really really enjoyed exploring this park. The arrow coaster is so well done too.

Thank you!

Here is an update on the project 2021 site, along with a special delivery:

Ooh, more custom track! One tip: add a 'smooth' modifier to your rails and backbones and set it to auto smooth. It gets rid of those weirdly smoothed ends.

I will certainly do that next time around. I already made the track for this project in advance, but I did figure out how to smooth the caps. Thanks again for the amazing resource.
