Why hello there everyone. I posted a few pictures of a coaster that I'm currently working on in the "What Did You Just Do In NoLimits" Thread
and I wanted to share a few more. Let's see if I formatted the links to them correctly so that the page doesn't take half an hour to load.
As I mentioned before, this is a dueling Mack hyper coaster that's a collaboration with WolfRaging95. For those interested, the way the layout itself was created involved building one layout then sending Wolf the park file to build the second one.
I want to go with a bit of a wild west theme, hence why the trains are themed (or at least attempted to be themed) to steam trains. In fact, the name of the coaster, Junction 1869, is a nod to the year that the Transcontinental Railroad was completed. I'm contemplating placing number plates on the zero cars of each of the trains, something like this:
The general premise of the ride is that two brothers set out to design the next generation of steam locomotive, one that was faster, more agile, and more capable than any train that came before it. In the spirit of competition, they each form separate train companies with their own unique train design: Black Gold (the gold trains on the left) and Ace of Spades (the red train on the right). They build a train station to showcase their work and offer tours to allow the public to decide which of the brothers built the better train. I'm still trying to work out the story a bit more, but I know that one of the stops on the tour is this canyon (which may become a cave) that I posted pictures of in the "What Did You Just Do In NoLimits" Thread.
Of course, this is far from done. Supports for about 85% of the ride aren't done, and I still need to do some more scenery work, which means I'm going to need to model some stuff in SketchUp. But I hope you guys like what you see so far.
