I prefer to use "K" to take a screenshot. Make sure (in your settings) the box is ticked (Screen shot with best Level Of Display LOD)

Press "L" in the simulator. That will give you poster quality. It's gigantic, so it might be too big to upload to Imgur and other sites, but you can resize it a bit and the quality will still be good.

The poster size screens only works in the professional version of the program. So not everyone has that option available.

i feel like it's worth noting specifically because you used hydra to test this that the center of weight for the trains in nl2 is placed on the center of of rails and not where it should actually be on the train so jo-jo rolls do not behave the same as they would IRL and that may be causing the large difference for you rather than the friction coefficient

ladies and gentlemen for all of my hard work with this creation the hard times I been going through and missing a lot days building this creation, but further out with do. Coasterman Soundwaves is officially complete and the day will be download and the official POV will be tommorow

Pretty cool Coasterman0108! I'm excited to see how it turns out.

I like the STC Changa, but I think the lift should be steeper

Thanks to nolimitscoasterguy for the inspiration on the Outward Banked Pretzel-Bat

Double Inverting Stall duels with an outward banked airtime hill

Ready for this sick downward launch?

We're flying

you seriously had to reply to the wholeass post, huh?

i painted it up in Mirrors Edge colours for, like, no apparent reason. just thought it'd look cool.

unrelated, may call it catalyst. idk tho

that looks incredible. did you use any sort of reshade or anything or is that just standard graphics? also, may i suggest painting the crossties red too and having the top of the spine accented (like mako, but red and white)

that's standard graphics with no editing at all, so thanks for the compliments! as for the colors - they're temporary and i'm playing with various different ideas. we'll see what happens!

Finished the Premier Layout, starting work on plotting out the area while waiting for some shaping feedback. Really happy with it, probably one of my favourite layouts I have done in years

  1. That layout looks awesome, very cool to see a new take on a classic, especially one that is underrepresented in NL2
  2. Your evacuation scenarios confuse me. After your launch, there are two valleys that you could potentially stop in. You have catwalks in one of them, but not in the other. What happens if you valley in the one with catwalks? Do you get 24 people to climb down onto a dinghy? Alternatively you could add in a little pier as an evac platform, that could be a fun detail to include.

That second point could be a big nitpick, it depends on what level of realism you're going for. Otherwise, I think it looks rad.

Thank you for the compliments! RE the stall locations: I have already changed the over the water aspect for other reasons, but the plan was to make a walkway connecting to the land as you suggested when I had finished the supports. As for the other stall point, I didn't want to use autogenerated catwalks on a banked section because it looks horrid. I will be modeling another one at a later date.

In the kindest way possible, I think this is entirely unrealistic. The park would have to pay for a crane to drag the train back to a good point.

I wouldn't mention this if you weren't putting so much effort into the stall points.

I am aware it would be an inconvenience on the park's part, however this scenario in of itself is an incredibly rare chance. The old Premier full circuit coasters are fitted with a system that automatically stops the train at the end of the launch if it doesnt gain enough speed to make it through the layout (similar to the rnrc clones), and the stall point catwalks are there as a "just in case". Honestly could make the argument you dont need them at all despite the potential of it getting stuck, especially in the case of Premier coasters specifically
