2019
So I'll take a stab and guess Europa Park will be getting a ride or two in 2019 now.
PiB was going to the end of it's service life so that one would be replaced in a few years anyway, it's still sad to see it's service life ending like this.
They probably will rebuild their Scandinavian area and repair Fjord-Rafting. I don't think we will see a lot of new rides in that area.
SFMM is rumored to be getting a Mack launcher to go in the Cyclone Bay area of the park. In a video touring the Mack facility, they talked about track that was being made for a "$20 Million" coaster in California. There really is only one park that makes sense for so it looks like MM will be joining Carowinds with another Mack in 2019. The theme is rumored to be Desert Racing, so maybe well get a dual launcher that has racing aspects. I am just hoping that its not a spinner.
What if it's a launched Mack Big Dipper?
Kennywood announced their new coaster from S&S
What the hell
^ I'll believe that when I see it. How very bizarre...
^^ Ok, this was a huge curveball. Looks uh... interesting to say the least. Let’s hope S&S doesn’t mess this one up haha
The more I look at that, the more I think that could be fun as hell. That first inversion/drop/dive thing in the back of a 6-car train? Woot. Probable lapbars, huge (huuuge) inversions, bit of airtime, plenty of speed... definitely unique. Here's hoping S&S gets the train right and it rides well.
Here's to hoping it doesn't have nearly as many issues as stuff like gale force and ring racer have had in S&S's past, and the themeing gets torn down at some point in the near future due to branding expenses.
I wish S&S Luck. It give me an RMC vibe but not as polished as an RMC would be. S&S is a good company but some of their latest stuff has not been up to Stan Checketts standards.
Sooo hyped for this brand new for 2021 roller coaster!
^^ Ride Centerline (The Company that Alan Schilke is part of) is responsible for the layout design. The main designer is Joe Draves who's designed rides like Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom and Gale Force. Keep in mind that S&S has purchased Vekoma, so I almost wonder if the ride is going to have the modern Vekoma track and trains that have been very successful the last couple of years.
^still, Vekoma is a separate part of S&S, so probably not.

No, it's Sansei who purchased both S&S and Vekoma, mainly for commercial reasons I believe.
S&S might be able to take some cues from Vekoma now that they are now under the same company. I'm rooting for S&S here - I hope they really can deliver on this ride.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the trains actually look like this rendering, they look pretty damn similar to the trains that premier is using on their coasters. I'm hoping for lap bars
They look like those new trains Titan at Space World got before it closed down... did S&S have anything to do with that?
Oh my goodness you're right.

I will absolutely piss myself if these are the trains
Can confirm those trains are by S&S and damn do they look similar to the rendering - oh god please let it be those and not trains with the Galeforce-type restraints
How about the Ring Racer trains?

I suspect the titan trains were effectively designed to replace the ring racer trains so I reckon it'll be those newer trains with an updated restraint style to be able to withstand inversions etc, so if be inclined to say it's gonna be a pretty crap ride
I think the Titan trains were designed exclusively for Titan.
Nor Titan or Ring Racer have inversion, so I expect vest restraints...
And Titan looks like a craft from El Loco parts.
I'll just point out the obvious...Titan's track faces the wrong way compared to Ring Racer or Steel Curtain. That would mean a full chassis redesign to make those seats work.

I'll take a look when I first visit this year, but I can't promise it'll be soon.
In any case pretty darn pumped to have a coaster of this magnitude opening at my home park, last notable addition (Leviathan) was back in 2012.
