How to attach lights to a car or scenery object?
For every scenery object you can add lights at the light tap in the NL2SCO Editor
Just wondering, does anyone know how to attach a light to one of the trains in the game by default??
you have to attach the light to the train as a scenery object, just don't disable the ingame trains
The problem is I do not know how to attach a scenery object to anything. Could you explain that to me?
This is also something I’ve been wondering about

Basically you have to have an attachment script and a model of the object you want to attach. Once modeled, create a NL2sco of the model and NL2mat to make the "lights". Then attach it using the script to the train.
Are there any video tutorials on youtube? Any experienced users would like to create one on youtube?
Written steam guide also ok? But I will also ask someone for collaboration on a video, since he speaks much better than me.
I think that's one of the most asked "scripting questions". It's not hard to do and one also does not need any 3d modelling tools, but I see how this is no way obvious if you are not doing any scenery related stuff in NL2 at all.
^ do you have or know of a steam guide that explains it? If you do, do post it!

Hello -
I've been using TCM's Intamin LSM trains and have been wondering if there is a way to attach lights to the cars.
Is there a script I can run that attaches a light to a scenery object?
