You can upgrade, just go to the Nolimits website and purchase a pro upgrade license. you can enter the key and stuff within the program itself on the main menu, regardless if you have the steam version or not

Yes, when you are making custom supports you just have to use a track connector and double click on it to open the setting page. There you will see more options to change what type of connector you are using.

it doesn't look like your coaster even has enough energy to have an ampersand in the layout, especially when you have to make it big enough to accommodate for the wing trains.
