Happy Holidays Everyone,

The NoLimitsCentral team wishes everyone happy holidays. We hope you are spending some time off with your beloved ones. It’s been quite some time since an update, so as the year and decade come to a close, let me update you on a few very exciting things to look forward to!

RMC Update (For real this time)

Yes, after much teasing the hybrid coaster (RMC) update for NoLimits has finally been shown off! Screenshots and a summary of the update are posted below, from the official news blog for NoLimits Coaster.

A new update is coming soon. We will try to release it on the day of the 6th anniversary of NoLimits 2. It will feature a long awaited new coaster style, called the hybrid coaster - Ole

NoLimits Coaster RMC Track Style

...The new coaster style will come with an improved wooden support generator which now allows to create proper supports for heartline twists and similar inversions. It will also work with standard wooden coasters. For the screenshots above, no additional manual tweaking was done. All supports directly came out of the support generator. The update will contain a couple of other new features, too, such as improved anti-aliasing options and optimizations. We hope you have some relaxed holidays - Ole

Site Updates

There are a few updates on NoLimitsCentral that I've been working on that I want to share. Some of them I will try to have out before the NoLimits update is released, others will need a bit more time.

The first is an update that will allow you to upload custom 3D assets to NoLimitsCentral. This will serve as both a public repository for users to download assets, as well as a private one. Public assets will be fully searchable and downloadable on the website, while private ones will only be accessible through your asset dashboard. Take a look at the screenshot below:

Miscellaneous

In addition to the asset update, there are a few miscellaneous features that will be released as well, such as the ability to make a park unlisted so it doesn't show in the exchange, a progress bar indicator for uploading parks, as well as the ability to edit park details before the upload is complete, and some minor tweaks and improvements.

This post was a bit longer than usual, but regardless, rest up during the holidays because 2020 will be a fun year!
