Hello all! This is something I have been working on for some time. A few things you should know about me, my projects progress slowly due to the fact that I am an Area Supervisor at Cedar Point for ride operations, and that consumes a great deal of my time. On to the project!

Velocity is an Intamin Rocket coaster standing at a height of 203ft. Reaching a maximum speed of 80mph throughout the 2,913ft of track.

Let me know what you guys think of it so far, its clearly a long way from done!

Hey and welcome to the site! That looks pretty badass so far. Looks like a beefed up Xcelerator. I'm not too fond of the color choices, they remind me of a faded Mcdonalds. Other than that I love it and I look forward to seeing your progress!

I like your layout. It changes from the other "Top-Hat-Camel-Back-ish" style layout. Btw, you should use the cable launch system rather than the LSM Launch system, it would look more realistic.

I’m not sure how it would look more realistic—the ride is designed to have an LSM launch. Care to explain your logic?

^ I presume he said it would look more realistic because the layout and feel of the ride. The layout very much reminds me of Xcelerator, which uses a hydraulic launch - also it nearly entirely uses 4 tube track, which adds to the mid-2000s rocket coaster feel. I think it’d look fine with an LSM launch, but I think a hydraulic launch would fit the style a fraction better.

That's exactly what I ment.

This all looks really nice, although I would have to agree about the color scheme, it is a bit faded for my liking, everything else looks pretty good though!
