Tracks don't synchronise dispatching properly

Hi. I have two separate tracks in my park and I want them to dispatch trains simultaneously. I've made sure that in the "synchronise dispatch with" window is the name of the other coaster. The station wait times are also the same. However, while the first dispatch of the day is indeed synchronised, the second and subsequent dispatches are not. Does anyone know why?

I think that function is only for synchronizing different stations on the same coaster.
