I may ask if somone is interested in a short tutorial on how you import 3D models, made from photogrammery , into NL2.
The tutorial would be focus of some google maps, since it would be a good reference for recreating a park or area.

Thank you for your interest =) I made a relative short video on how to get a fast result. Keep in mind, that you can get far better quality with more pictures and a higher resolution. This will take a lot longer to process, tho.
Best results were made by using 1440p and 1000 Pictures but your PC will sweat the half day ;) And the result is not that good that i would recommend it for something like Google 3D Objects.
The best use of the result is either to have a reference object in 3D to recreate it or to bring something like landscapes or mountain facades into your project.

It took 10 Minutes to generate the result, you´ll see.

Have fun! ;)

I was aware that this works with google maps kind of manually but google earth studio is probably a much better choice for this!

Thanks for sharing this information!

You´re welcome ;) Your tutorials are AWESOME!

I tried it first with maps, but it was too time consuming, after that i tried to capture the screen, while rotating with OBS and made screenshots with VLC player - from the video itself xD
But a lot of detail (because of the compression) is lost this way. At the end, this is a one way solution which is easy to use and you can save the project to come back later and make a few adjustments, if needed. Also the resolution and features are very nice. It´s also good to know, that this way, it´s very similar to the keyframe animations in Blender. So if you can set a path in GES .. you can also animate simple stuff in Blender, just saying ;)

EDIT: For those who want models of coasters (i almost forgot).. I didn´t get B&M or Intamin coasters to work. Looks like, the rails are too thin to make sense for Meshroom. Wooden coasters on the other hand are working really good. I also tested whole parks, but it is working at best if you have one thing to focus on. If somebody get some of these to work, let me know ;)
