Boardwalk-Template
Welcome to the boardwalk at Knott's Berry Farm.
Within the bounderies of this template is a good sized area that the park has sorely misused, let's show them what marvelous things COULD have been here if they had used the space well.
Allow me to explain the template: (and keep in mind I'm not a professional :p sorry it's so wordy)
Don't pass the red, all there is to say about that; try to keep it inside the orange if you can, the walkway is past that so if you do pass the orange line try to keep it off the ground. It's ok to get close to the ground in places but try not to do it excessively if at all possible, supports are also ok in there (of course); bonus points for including a net under the track where it goes over the walkways. The blue/water area is the remaining splash pool from Perilous Plunge (may it rest in peace), you can do whatever you want with that.
The long yellow space is where the train passes by as well as the employee access road, so build above that area and keep support footers out. The last place to note is the yellow box just up from Johnny Rocket's, it's sort of a back-lot area for storage and stuff, try to leave that area as free as possible. Supports and train storage are alright, but if you can avoid it, by all means do.
The area in black was for building around the fountain, but after a while of thinking about it I determined it wasn't really a good idea, but I wanted to leave it as a keepsake.
With those things in mind, build what you want and be sure to make it fun! (smooth too, that's a big helper :p)
If you have any more questions be sure to ask me.
(Only the template is frozen in the download for shorter load times, feel free to freeze the other rides if and whenever you want)
If you want to see a top down of the park, download Boardwalk Overlay (screenshot from google maps), put in in an easy to find location (preferably the parks root folder). Once in the game go to File > Preferences..., and in the Overlay tab select the file in "Image" (If you use multiple viewports, be sure to do this for each one) Set Center X, Y and Z to -570ft, 0ft and -330ft (-173.736m, 0m, -100.584m) and the scale to 0.45ft / pixel (0.13716m / pixel)
