Mission Alpha
Mission Alpha is a concept for a B&M triple launch flying coaster.
+++OPERATIONAL INFORMATION+++
Due to the scripted nature of this coaster manual operation is not possible, also resetting the coaster may result in the coaster not being operational.
This B&M roller coaster concept uses a tilting platform to bring riders from the prone position to a laying position for the launch. The tilting platform also doubles as a track change to be able to go back and forth without going through the station, therefor allowing for multi vehicle operations.
The launching sequence is topped of by a 48.6m (159.5ft) Jr. Scorpion tail, which is the highest point of this coaster concept.
The train reaches its maximum speed of 93 km/h (57.8 mph) right before the Jr. Scorpion tail after the second launch.
The name Mission Alpha is given by the shape of the last element and final brake-run which from its side remembers of the old Greek letter a.
Inspect the top of the tilting platform in walk-view to find something unexpected ;)
