Manticore - A B&M Wing Coaster
By Drbcoaster

The Manticore is Persian legendary creature that has the body of a red lion, a human head with three rows of sharp teeth (like a shark), bat-like wings, and a trumpet-like voice. It is my first attempt at making a B&M wing coaster from the ground up. My 1st wing coaster - Valkyrie - was a floorless ride I imported from NL1 and converted to a wing coaster. Manticore features a 153 ft 1st drop, speeds over 65 mph, 5 inversions - including a wing over drop, a zero-g roll, a dive loop, a corkscrew, and a barrel roll, and it features a unique figure-8 helix maneuver which really pushes the g-forces and makes for a very wild ride regardless of what side you're sitting on.
