Dark Matter

Heavily Inspired by Banshee at Kings Island, this wild B&M Inverted Coaster is best seen at dusk to dawn (AKA at night). This ride features 5 inversions as it flies through the forest. Dark Matter starts off by turning left into the 148 ft (45m) lift hill. Cresting the top, Riders plunge 140 ft (43m) into a dive loop, which then speeds through the 1st of 2 tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnel at the rides top speed of 65 mph (106 km/h), riders flip upside-down through a vertical loop quickly followed by a Zero-G roll. Exiting the 2nd tunnel, the track twists into the midcourse brake run. After diving out of the brake, it twists and turns in the woods and completes 2 whippy corkscrews, almost smashing into the trees and boulders just feet below the train. Riders enter the final brake run attempting to catch their collective breath, wanting to ride again.
