Python

Park Image

My first attempt at creating/copying a coaster. I'm not very good at it yet, but all beginnings are tough and perhaps people can give me some pointers.

It's hard for me to build because there are no references except for photo's and google maps. I can't get the ride-length right. It's supposed to be 100m more then it is now, but I'm suspecting they count the service track in that as well since I built the top-view on scale. Speed and g's are probably off as well. It feels a bit too slow. My main problem is also getting the corkscrews to feel right. They are wobbly and I can't seem to fix it by depumping the vertices. It makes for a smoother ride but moves them to the incorrect location.

About the ride:
Python is a double-loop Corkscrew roller coaster in the Efteling amusement park in the Netherlands. When it started operation in 1981, it was the largest steel roller coaster on the European mainland.
